The Purpose of Establishment
About us
Found in Hong Kong, CPLA is a non-profit social organization that was established in May 2022. Formed by relevant colleges and universities in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, with the aims to promote academic exchanges and discussions on “physical literacy” in Chinese regions.
- Promote physical literacy, promote physical activity, disseminate sports knowledge, raise public awareness of physical exercise, and carry out various forms of physical literacy research activities. Promote physical exercise for everyone, enhance the awareness of lifelong sports, promote the healthy development of children, youth and population of all ages, and help everyone to be physically fit.
- Establish an academic exchange platform among universities based on “physical literacy”. Organize academic exchange meetings to promote academic exchange and discussion among universities and regions.
- Define the cultural connotation of “physical literacy” and expand the influence of “physical literacy” in the East.
- Foster close links among Chinese regions around the world through “physical literacy”.
- Establish a platform for academic exchange between universities.
